Metronome The Series

Hey Friends,

This post is more of a summary of the last half year of my acting life & the creation of the new WebSeries Metronome.

So early last year, I started writing what I thought would be a short film, Metronome, but once I wrote the first Chapter I couldn't really stop myself, I just kept writing. It ended up turning into an ongoing project. I'd write after work, before work, & during. After toying with the idea, I decided to produce the first chapter just to see how folks would respond. I can't begin to tell you how much work goes into even the most basic productions.  Any half way decent thing you watch on TV or Film has a ton of blood, sweat, & tears built into it. It's so much work it makes your head spin!

So fast forward a few months and we had finished with Metronome Chapter 1. We decided to release it online to see what people thought. Overall, there was a very positive response to the mystery behind the show & the missing patient Olivia.

So again, after releasing Metronome Chapter 1, my Idle Hands needed something else to do. I said, you know what let's just keep going, why not produce Chapter 2 & see where that takes us. After assembling a great cast & crew we went at it again. Coming from an acting background then making my way into producing at times just seemed organic. I wanted to know all sides of the production. I won't lie, at times it can be so chaotically overwhelming,, but I savored these moments. We learn the most when we are outside our comfort zones, these moments of panic & tension eventually pass, and when they end you realize you know just that much more now! Seek out these moments & see where they take you!

Currently, Chapter 2 is in post-production & will be out very soon. We will then be moving on to Chapter 3. Bringing something that started simply as a crazy idea in my head & seeing it being brought to life is amazing. .

Onward,

Gabe S.
